black shrouded white
pure frost tipped
gleaming sparks
sunrise kissed
glinting glistening
silver flashes of ice
catching sol
inspiring soul
with fairy tales
and magic dreams
from youthful days
before time’s march
etched her frost
on me.

Beautiful. Illustrates perfectly why I keep coming back to your work, and am happy when I see something by you in my e-mail. Lovely pic too.
Oh aren’t you the sweetest comment maker on my blogs – will you run away with me so we can write poetry in the mountains?
Thanks Susan…I really liked this one when I wrote it. Sometimes I write and I think – oh that one was pretty darn okay! Glad you enjoyed
Now you’re the sweet one
i am fairly certain you will withdraw your offer to run away when you realize my running away would also involve a few Siamese cats and two school age children
Yes the Siamese cats might be a problem! The school age children can look after themselves – those cats however can be so demanding!
(I have my own kids and cats collection…)
this is more than “darn ok” . Once again your painted words and movement are beautiful and as always.. always something lurking underneath. Loved this one Mr. Merlin. A beautiful canvas for me this morning
Yes it is more than “darn ok” it is “pretty darn okay”
Thanks unfettered – always enjoy your visits and kind words on my scribbles of the day
it is %^$# EXCELLENT — now stop that.
I wish I could scribble like you.. but I keep going outside the damn lines
The “pretty” part was very important
