Poem: Confounded

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #2…at the end of the day)

befuddled
i muddle
perplexed
in a daze
stumbling
blindly
through
darkness
and haze
clarity
always
eluding
my gaze
downcast
and
thoughtless
since parting
our ways.
