Poem: Devoured

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #4…)

you
claw rip sharp fangs
deep into my heart
slurping longing and
hidden memory
deep down inside of
you
devouring me
so i am no more
than the infection
burning burdening
etching memory
now consuming
you.
