(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #22.)

it
isn’t easy
it is never easy
challenges will appear
that block us from our goals

we
push on
with fortitude
keep calm carry on
comprehending persevering
looking for ways both straight and true

this
mountain
firm in front of me
doesn’t need to be moved
i just need to move myself
the problem isn’t moving ahead
the solution is simply going around

we
focus on
what cannot be done
instead of simply doing
what is in our power to do.
