Poem: February Twenty-fifth

slight frost
kissing my face
winds touch
tickling my neck
goosebumps
all the way down

bundled
against damn cold
winter
slinking under
burrowing
into my clothes

please sun
awaken the spring
make flowers
bloom again
let me
escape this chill!
