Poem: Teasing

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #22.)

gloss lick of lips
sugar frosting;
sweet sway of hips
honey dropping.

she’s not for me
but oh that look
it has to be;
I want her hook.

She moves away
across the room;
I try and stay
within her plume.

A glance my way
to make me think
she wants to play
-was that a wink?

Can this be true
every bit?
I follow too
out an exit.

And then she’s gone
past the corner;
when I catch on
I’ll never find her.

Shall we have a conversation?
