Poem: Completion

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #30.)

thirty thoughts on thirty days
muttered and mumbled into verses
of self-indulgent melancholy

see how I have twisted words
into half-baked poetical pretzels
sloppy rhymes creating folly

I ask for forgiveness dear reader
look away before the damage done
as I fading vanish from this story…

thirty moments trapped in time
and no regrets for my trying
to heal what is broken inside.

Shall we have a conversation?
