Everytime I see you,
I am now resigned,
to have thoughts of spring,
racing through my mind.
I’m thinking of gardens;
will you be my Eve?
Thinking of Genesis;
do I have to plead?
Let’s get planting
just get all dirty,
rooting in the earth,
grow something perdy.
Let’s pick some apples;
will you be my Eve?
Getting all Genesis;
do I have to plead?
You were made for me;
there’s no other way.
Look how we mingle,
you don’t have to sy
Let’s get natural;
will you be my Eve?
Form our own Genesis;
do I have to plead?
Can you hear that snake
whispering your name?
Let’s give in to sin;
now’s no time for shame!
I’m thinking of gardens;
will you be my Eve?
Thinking of Genesis;
do I have to plead?
Come on my honey;
will you be my Eve?
Form our own Genesis;
please don’t make me plead!
Oh please don’t make me plead!
Come on be my Eve…
