Poem: 10April

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #10.)

caressed with yellow golden waves
down lambkin clouds over river slowly
golden drifting beneath new spring buds

and among the reeds
brown with rust
thick with rustling
lilting twittering
caressed by red-tinged wings
kiss memories

purple warmth
deep joy spreading
richer then sweet scented
gardenia blossoms
slowly cresting
heartbeat resting
caressed undressed

fluttering yellow fabric
outspreads grabs wind
floats skyward kiting
merging regret with bliss

you were there
and so was lucky I.

Shall we have a conversation?
