the air tastes like dust
promising clouds
clouds of gnats
swirl around my head
watering
watering can
cracked from over use
summer heat
heat shimmers

glad we had rain here today.. we needed it. ( my brain is cracked though much like the watering can)

I’d like some rain here. Well more rain. It rained yesterday morning and by late yesterday the heat had evaporated that promise. My brain has been cracked for at least a decade now.
