Words: Feather Fall

soft
drifting
on a breath
feather from
a bird in flight

falling

caught
in between
hands on my watch
marking the passing
blur of light

falling

meteor
zipping
between stars
catching sparkles
in our eyes

falling

hard
while
you never
even noticed
I was gone.
