Words: Frayed

voice bouncing
off backsplash
flatware in hot water

you throw words
sharp steak knives
slicing flesh

i bleed
scarlet drops
on white bubbles

shock
catches us in
wordless gasp

coriolis
spinning inward
down hard

dozen stitches
later we drink tea
fraying silence

    • Thank you sir! Yes realized it was National Poetry month and I should at least try to write.
Did get my domain moved – which was painful and blocked my access to my wordpress.com content and sites. Took me a bit to figure out the redirects…

And the figured out I can pretend to use Classic Mode to write by blocking “Blocks” and then it reverts to just plain text boxes with no fancy pants CSS needed 😛
