Poem: XX

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #26.)

unknown
unknowable
unexplained
unexplainable
unmeasured
unmeasurable

out of my depth
once again
i stumble along
and pretend
i comprehend

you are mystery
completely compelling
leaving me
breathlessly wanting
to fully explore
and more.

Poem: Wonder

(For National Poetry Month I am writing a stream-of-conscious poem per day. Each poem is  a spontaneous poem single edit – could get messy!  Here is Poem #25.)

Warm coffee bitter black,
you resting against my back,
cool afternoon breezes stirring
the yellow roses on our drapes.

This place is my heaven,
here with you by my side,
there’s nothing else I need

You are my daily wonder with
joyous laughter in your eyes.
If you leave take me with you,
I couldn’t bear the emptiness.

Poem: Vaguely

i think…
i thought…
i mean…
i saw…
this thing
like that
over there
next to this
doing…

well you know
the things
it does
when it is doing
and then it was
sorta
kinda
to and froing
vanishing
like it
never was…

ya know what I mean?

Poem: Wasted

hourglass trickles,
marking our passing,
basaltic iota
all ashes and dust,
trapped inside
a vitreous casing.

polish it;
rub it;
make it all gleaming,
see how it flows
ever so freely
taking our time
back to the dreaming.

Poem: Variables

let us agree then for
illustrative simplicity
that when x is any value
between here and infinity
stated as a coefficient
of the measured distance
from the location you occupy
to the place i clearly want to be
– here designated at the merging Y
then it is clear that the resultant z
is the statistical anomaly
expressed as an irrational value
where we will fully intersect
in euclidean space and time
inevitably resulting
in %!$#@&^&$# ahgfs$@^………………..
