Poem: Slit

I
am
here
where
there’s
nothing
only this
dripping
warmly
slipping
inviting
thin slit
begging
meĀ  to
come
inside
and
be
.

Poem: Fine Sugar

bitter black coffee
stagnant day old tea
fermenting from hot sun

cover it all up
sugar in my cup
fine powder see it run

dashing and splashing
still madly laughing
stir it when its all done

giving it all up
sweetness in my cup
fine powder on my gun

we are all broken
each and every one
why can’t we have some fun?

bitter black daydreams
ending up in screams
fine powder til its gone…

Poem: Broken Boxspring

in this bed
here we lay
entangled
by our lies

that was then
now we’re not
entwined
by our lives

those sordid
things we kept
entrapped
by our linens

are now free
yet we’re still
entombed
by our lines

this mattress
we’ve broken
entitled
by our lips

Poem: Frown

broken crease scrunching
incredibly indelibly deeply
over eyebrows broken arching
pulled ever tightly tautly
taunting those that dare
to choose their next words
with eggshell delicate care
or experience sharp reality….

Poem: Canker

this morning I reminisce
sweet succulent lips
dripping with honey

wait what is that tingling?

sore swollen lips
oozing with fluids
achingly smoldering

dammit all – it’s slowly erupting

still in all the memory remains
you were always well worth the pain.
